In court, a judge is NOT going to imagine the city law says something other than what it does. And a judge, unlike the Seattle City Council, will not imagine the spirit of the law that was written so poorly.
The city will have to point out just how poorly the law was written, and just how unusable the law is.
The city council should be embarrassed by their double standard exempting the Storm agreement and not the Sonics agreement.
Shame on you, now the public literally will have to pay for your obvious failure.
I can't wait to rewrite the law to include non-profits, and to set Chris Hansen's proposal as a threshold that other agreements must meet.
I'll send it to the council after I91 loses in court.
