ugh.. the old name/history debate is popping up again on SC. the pessimmists have a point though. nickels did make a stupid(or selfish) agreement by specifying the key. when things come around, how do you expect things to play out? i posted on SC that clay will probably sell all that stuff for the right price. do you think he would sell them to our new team owners, whoever they may be? the stats arent really too important to me, but the name/jerseys/colors/logos/banners/trophies matter alot to me. i would at least want those for our new team.

Brian mentioned before, and I agree, Clay wants nothing to do with the history. It is an asset, he might sell it back to whoever has a team in Seattle.
That does not help the players that had their franchise names changed during the move.
